Dubai has invested in state of the art technologies guided by international best practices to develop its infrastructure. The Emirate has a well developed transportation network, IT and telecommunications system, electricity and water resources and an enviable waste management system in place. The city has invested more than AED 15.5 billion for its rail network and an additional AED 6 billion to expand its road network.
